THE SITUATION REPORT:
Most nonprofits play it safe. Girlz in the Hoodie™ refused. They set out to change the mastectomy recovery experience—not with pity, but with power. Their mission: get zip-up hoodies into the hands of every woman facing breast cancer surgery. Practical comfort, strategic style, and a battle cry for healing with dignity. They came to Vinciguerra Creative not for a logo—but for a movement. We answered with a brand identity built to unify warriors, ignite funding, and flip the narrative on recovery gear forever.
THE IMPACT ZONE:
We developed a brand that hit harder than the standard pink playbook. Inspired by the Boyz n the Hood title treatment, our custom logotype and visual identity transformed Girlz in the Hoodie™ into a symbol of strength, solidarity, and unapologetic style. A bold black-and-white brand system paired with direct, emotional storytelling united fundraising, fashion, and recovery under one rally cry: Zip Together.
