Take Time to Remember

Honoring a Legacy Through Community and Design

THE SITUATION REPORT:

In 2011, Moosic Borough sought to commemorate the late Mayor John M. Segilia, who served the community for over three decades. The vision was to erect a community clock in front of the Moosic Borough Municipal Building as a lasting tribute. To bring this vision to life, the Moosic Clock Committee needed a cohesive branding and fundraising strategy that would rally community support and secure the necessary funds.

THE IMPACT ZONE:

Vinciguerra Creative partnered with the Moosic Clock Committee to develop a comprehensive campaign that combined heartfelt storytelling with strategic design. The “A Taste of Moosic” fundraising event became the centerpiece of this initiative, featuring contributions from local restaurants and businesses. Through meticulously designed event materials—including tickets, banners, table tents, placemats, and thank-you cards—we created a unified and engaging experience that resonated with attendees. The campaign successfully raised over $15,000, culminating in the installation of the memorial clock, which now stands as a symbol of community pride and remembrance.

TACTICAL WINS:

  • Brand identity and promotional materials for the “A Taste of Moosic” event
  • Design of event tickets, banners, table tents, and placemats
  • Creation of thank-you cards for participating businesses and donors
  • Collaboration with local businesses to maximize community engagement
  • Successful fundraising strategy resulting in over $15,000 raised
  • Thank you cards for participating restaurants, advertisers, and donors

FEEDBACK:

“Vinciguerra Creative played an instrumental role in bringing our vision to fruition. Their dedication to capturing the essence of our community and honoring Mayor Segilia’s legacy was evident in every aspect of the campaign. The memorial clock now stands as a testament to what we can achieve when we come together.”
