Branding a Downtown Destination with Handcrafted Swagger

THE SITUATION REPORT:

When a bold new nightlife concept moved into a historic Williamsport address, The Bar on Market needed an identity with serious presence. With three venues under one roof—a bar, live music space, and cigar lounge—the owners weren’t just opening a bar. They were claiming a part of the city. But on a street with deep roots and high foot traffic, stock type wouldn’t cut it. They called in Vinciguerra Creative to give the place a name, a face, and a way to own the block.

THE IMPACT ZONE:

We crafted a custom hand-lettered brand identity that channels grit, charm, and nightlife energy in one mark. Our design set the tone for the space—urban, unpolished, and unforgettable. We then brought the brand to the streets with a metal sign system that included the primary logo, a stylized “341 Market Street” placard, and a bold “LIVE MUSIC” sign to draw the right crowd. Now, The Bar on Market doesn’t just show up on maps—it owns the street.
